WHAT OUR ARCADE REDEMPTION ATTENDANTS DO

The Arcade Redemption Attendant provides fast and friendly service to out guests in all areas of the department including prize counter, golf course counter, and food service.

AN ARCADE REDEMPTION ATTENDANT’S DAY-TO-DAY

• Immediately welcomes all customers in a friendly manner, providing ultimate service and attention which consistently results in a “WOW” experience.
• Ensure all games are working properly and promptly troubleshoot minor swipe card and/or ticket problems as they arise.
• Immediately assists customers who have swipe card, ticket problems, or need help playing the games with prompt, friendly, and efficient service in our gaming area.
• Reports problems with game equipment’s to management.
• Accurately conduct POS transactions while ensuring all procedures are followed – including credit and refund transactions.
• Ensure all PCI and park guidelines are being followed for all financial transactions.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• All other assigned duties by leadership.

WHAT IT TAKES

• Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with California Child Labor Laws
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift
• Ability to comply with all uniform policies
• Must possess safety-oriented mindset and understand the importance of complying with all state, local, and company food preparation and serving regulations
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner
• Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently
• Ability to use kitchen equipment and accessories in a safe and effective manner
• Ability to keep the kitchen areas neat and organized
• Ability to safely utilize knives and other food preparation as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/ PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday
• Ability to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders
• Ability to withstand heat and humidity from food preparation equipment
• Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 30 pounds or more

Working Conditions:

• This role will be based in one or more food stall and/or restaurant locations throughout the park, with exposure to both indoor and outdoor environments
• Frequent exposure to variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, and other weather conditions
• Subject to constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, and heavily populated environments

EDUCATION AND EXPRIENCE

• No education requirement for this role

• 1+ year of previous culinary work experience at a food service or restaurant preferred but not required.

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.75 / hr.
